An ESD Love Story: Jeannie & Bill’s Wedding Jewelry

Jeannie & Bill’s Wedding Jewelry

Today, I'm thrilled to share a heartwarming story about a super special jewelry order I recently created for a lovely bride-to-be named Jeannie.

Jeannie originally emailed me in May bursting with excitement and joy. She told me about her upcoming wedding and how she wanted to surprise her soon-to-be hubby Bill with a one-of-a-kind gift on their big day.

The best part? She revealed that most of the jewelry she wears is from my little shop!

"Fun story: I remember early on I told Bill, my fiancé, that I don't wear a ton of jewelry, but about 95% the jewelry I do wear is from your shop. He even wrote "Erica Sara Designs" in his notes on his phone so if he ever gifted me jewelry, it was from your shop."

I was over the moon to be a part of her love story and wanted to make her gift extra special.

Jeannie had the sweet idea of custom cufflinks for Bill with her handwriting, commemorating their first date and their wedding date. I could already see his face lighting up with love as he received them. She wanted these cufflinks to be more than just beautiful; they had to carry a piece of their love story.

Then Jeannie had her eyes on another fantastic idea — my Custom Sound Wave Engraved Ring.

"Another question as I am strolling your website for all the ways we can incorporate more of your designs into our wedding day/our lives. The Custom Sound Wave Engraved Ring — is there a maximum length of the audio file? I just pitched the idea of this ring as our wedding bands."

I was touched by the thought and assured her that we could bring this beautiful idea to life. We decided on matching 14KT white gold bands, each 4 mm thick.

The couple gave me permission to share what they recorded for each other with you, and it’s just so sweet. Here's Bill's Ring (a message from Jeannie) and here's Jeannie's Ring (a message from Bill).

Being a part of such an important moment in their lives was incredibly special to me. It reminded me why I adore what I do — creating jewelry that's not just beautiful but meaningful and full of love.

So, here's to Jeannie and Bill — may your journey be filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures. I'm beyond grateful to have played a tiny role in your love story, and I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.

Before I sign off, a big shout-out to all my amazing customers who, honestly, feel more like friends. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your most cherished memories. Your stories inspire me to create jewelry that warms hearts and brings smiles.

With gratitude,
Erica Sara
