Sometimes you have an idea that can’t be found in my main collection, and when my studio capacity allows, I’m happy to explore creating something completely custom for you.

Bespoke orders are only available when I have the time and space to thoughtfully take on new design work. Because every piece is designed and made with care, I accept a limited number of custom projects at a time.

How the Custom Process Works

1. Submit a custom inquiry
Share details about what you’re hoping to create, along with your budget, any inspiration images, materials preferences, sizing, and timeline considerations.

2. Availability confirmation
If I currently have capacity for custom work, I’ll confirm next steps and request payment of the custom design fee.

3. Design begins
Once the non refundable design fee is paid, I’ll create the initial design concept(s).

4. Revisions
You’ll have the opportunity to request up to two sets of revisions. If I create multiple options for your design, you may select one of the options for revisions. Additional revisions may be available for an added fee. In the event you fail to approve a design, you will forfeit the deposit as a fee for our design services, and we will cease any further work on your piece.

5. Final approval & production
Production begins once the final design is confirmed and full payment is made. Custom orders typically take longer than standard website orders due to the design process. Timelines vary based on complexity and current studio workload. If you have a specific deadline, please note it in your inquiry and I’ll let you know if it’s feasible.

What Custom Orders Are Best For

Bespoke orders are ideal for:

Creating a meaningful, one-of-a-kind piece that doesn’t exist on the in the Erica Sara Designs collection
Reworking an idea into a clean, wearable design that aligns with the Erica Sara Designs aesthetic

Bespoke orders are not meant for:

Replicas of another brand’s design
Logos or trademarked imagery we do not have rights to
Requests requiring unlimited revisions or ongoing design exploration

The Custom Design Fee

All custom projects begin with a $50 custom design fee.

This fee covers the time, attention, and expertise required to develop a new design from scratch.

The $50 custom design fee includes:

Initial design concept(s) based on your request
One set of revisions to refine the design

Any additional revisions beyond the first revision round may incur additional charges, depending on the scope of the changes requested. This ensures that extended design time is fairly compensated.

Once design work has begun, the custom design fee is non-refundable.

Pricing

Initial pricing will be provided with the first round of revisions and may change based on revisions. Final pricing for custom pieces is determined after the design is finalized and reflects the cost of materials, production labor, and overall complexity.

Because precious metal prices fluctuate, final pricing is based on current market rates at the time your design is approved and moves into production. Quotes based on metal pricing are valid for 7 days from the date the estimate is provided. If the collaboration process extends over time due to delayed decisions or prolonged revisions and metal prices increase, pricing may need to be adjusted before production begins. Timely communication and final approval help ensure pricing remains accurate.

If a price adjustment becomes necessary, we’ll reach out promptly to discuss next steps. We ask that clients respond within 2 days of notification so we can move forward in a timely and coordinated way.

Returns & Final Sale Policy

Because custom pieces are made specifically for you:

All custom orders are final sale.
Once design work has begun, the custom design fee is non-refundable.

(If your piece arrives damaged or if an error was made on our end, of course we’ll make it right.)

Intellectual Property

All designs created by Erica Sara Designs are intended for personal use only and may not be used, reproduced, or resold for commercial purposes.

Erica Sara Designs retains full ownership of all designs and all related intellectual property rights. Purchasing a piece does not transfer ownership of the design itself. We may use design concepts or elements to create future products or variations, without restriction.
