Caring for your bracelet
- Wear it through runs, showers, and sleep
- Rinse with warm water and pat dry after sweaty miles, pools, or the ocean
- Keep lotion, perfume, sunscreen, and harsh cleaners off it when you can
- Sterling silver may darken over time; a gentle polish brings it back

Snip it at the small jump ring with scissors or clippers, and save the chain and centerpiece.
If it breaks
Fine chain is designed to give way if it catches, so it doesn’t hurt you. Save every piece, because we can only repair a bracelet you still have.
US customersWithin 60 days: contact us, mail it in, and we’ll add a clasp and send it back, free.
After 60 days: we’ll add a clasp for $5 plus shipping.
Within 1 year: bring it to any Erica Sara event and we’ll re-weld it free.
Outside the US? Repairs by mail aren’t available, but most local jewelers can re-weld the bracelet for you.

What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a bracelet with no clasp, custom fit to your wrist and welded closed so it stays with you through every mile, every finish line, and every ordinary day in between. Erica Sara permanent bracelets are available in sterling silver or gold filled, with a centerpiece you choose at the booth.
Where can I get an Erica Sara permanent bracelet?
Permanent jewelry is welded in person only, at the Erica Sara booth at select race expos, including the TCS New York City Marathon Expo. It is not available to order online.
Does getting welded hurt?
No. The weld happens at the small jump ring, away from your skin, and takes just a quick flash of light.
Can I wear my permanent bracelet in the shower or while running?
Yes. You can wear it through runs, showers, and sleep. Rinse it with warm water and pat it dry after sweaty miles, pools, or the ocean.
How do I remove a permanent bracelet?

What if my permanent bracelet breaks?
Save every piece, because we can only repair a bracelet you still have. For US customers: within 60 days, mail it to us and we’ll add a clasp and send it back, free. After 60 days, we’ll add a clasp for $5 plus shipping. Within 1 year, bring it to any Erica Sara event and we’ll re-weld it free. Outside the US, repairs by mail aren’t available, but most local jewelers can re-weld the bracelet for you.
Can I return or replace a permanent bracelet?
Permanent jewelry is final sale once welded and cannot be returned or exchanged. Lost bracelets cannot be replaced.
